  • protocol_name

    string

    default: MQTT

    Protocol name expected in the MQTT CONNECT packet. Use MQIsdp for MQTT 3.1 and MQTT for MQTT 3.1.1 or 5.0.

    The optional field and MQTT default were introduced in API7 Enterprise 3.9.16 and 3.10.3. In earlier API7 Enterprise patches, this field is required and has no default.

  • protocol_level

    integer

    required

    Protocol level expected in the MQTT CONNECT packet. Set to 3 for MQTT 3.1, 4 for MQTT 3.1.1, or 5 for MQTT 5.0. A connection using another level is rejected.
