AISIX Enterprise and Cloud Overview
AISIX Enterprise and AISIX Cloud each provide centralized management for AISIX gateways across organizations and environments. The products use the same control-plane implementation and share a core resource model, while differing in who operates the control plane and which product-specific workflows are available.
Applications send live AI traffic directly through AISIX gateways in your infrastructure. Requests do not pass through either product's control plane.
Architecture
The dashboard and AISIX Cloud Admin API are management surfaces for the control plane. Gateways connect outbound to receive configuration and certificates, report health and usage, and request control-plane decisions. The live request path remains separate.
The products differ in who operates the control plane:

The shared implementation does not make the products identical. Product-specific pages and API operations identify workflows that are available in only one product.
The remaining pages in AISIX Enterprise & Cloud document this control-plane layer. Shared pages cover both products and call out behavioral differences where they matter. A page that applies to only one product states that scope in its opening.

The dashboard supports interactive resource management, organization administration, gateway registration, and usage review. For supported automation, use the AISIX Cloud Admin API reference. Despite its established name, the API reference covers shared operations for AISIX Enterprise and AISIX Cloud and identifies product-specific availability.
Choose a Product
Choose AISIX Enterprise when the control plane, dashboard, data stores, and gateways must run in infrastructure you operate. Enterprise includes customer-operated installation, database, backup and restore, SMTP, and upgrade workflows. Get started with AISIX Enterprise or continue to AISIX Enterprise deployment.
Choose AISIX Cloud when API7 should operate the control plane and dashboard while you operate the gateways. Cloud includes API7-operated services and hosted-only workflows such as verified organization domains. Continue with Get Started with AISIX Cloud.
For either product, begin with Organizations and Environments, then connect an AISIX gateway. Use Admin Tokens for automation. When a shared page describes different behavior, follow its AISIX Enterprise and AISIX Cloud notes rather than inferring availability from the shared dashboard or API shape.
