Plugin Management
Configure Plugin Metadata
The following plugins have metadata properties that allow for global configuration. Configuring the plugin metadata will affect all instances of the plugin within the current cluster, including all plugin templates,routes/APIs,consumers.
- Log in to the API7 Enterprise dashboard.
- In the top navigation menu, click on Cluster Management .
- In the left menu bar, click on Cluster List .
- Click on View button for the specific cluster.
- In the left menu bar, click on Plugin Management .
- Click on Setting button for the specific plugin.
- In the plugin metadata editor, edit the plugin parameters (optional, some plugins will show "Does not need configuration").
- Click on Submit button.
Forbid Plugin
For security reasons or other considerations, you have the ability to forbid the usage of a plugin in this cluster. This means that the plugin cannot be used by any plugin template, route/API, or consumer within the cluster.
- Log in to the API7 Enterprise dashboard.
- In the top navigation menu, click on Cluster Management .
- In the left menu bar, click on Cluster List .
- Click on View button for the specific cluster.
- In the left menu bar, click on Plugin Management .
- Click on Setting button for the specific plugin.
- In the Uninstall Plugin tab, check the current usage of this plugin.
- Click on Delete button.
Enable Custom or Forbidden Plugin
Enable a custom plugin or re-enable a forbidden plugin to allow its usage by every plugin template, route/API, and consumer going forward.
- Log in to the API7 Enterprise dashboard.
- In the top navigation menu, click on Cluster Management .
- In the left menu bar, click on Cluster List .
- Click on View button for the specific cluster.
- In the left menu bar, click on Plugin Management .
- Click on Create Plugin button.
- Select the specific plugin.
- Click on Submit button.
