Plugin Metadata

Configure Plugin Metadata

The following plugins have "metadata" properties. After configuring the metadata, all plugin templates and consumers that use this plugin within the cluster will inherit the metadata properties. This is generally used for global settings of some plugins to avoid the need to repeatedly configure the plugin every time it is used.

• authz-casbin
• cors
• error-log-logger
• http-logger
• kafka-logger

Configuring plugin metadata without enabling the plugin in the plugin template or consumer or without any route/API referencing the plugin template will not affect the business logic.

1. Log in to the API7 Enterprise dashboard.
2. In the top navigation menu, click on Cluster Management .
3. In the left menu bar, click on Cluster List .
4. Click on View button of the specific cluster.
5. In the left menu bar, click on Plugin Metadata .
6. Click on Setting button for the corresponding plugin.
7. In the Editor Plugin Metadata, edit the metadata.
8. Click onSubmit button.
